Pastoral Care

Pastoral Care at Calvary Church has a long history of hospitality, mutual care and sacramental spirituality. We practice discipleship not just as a call to service, but also as a call to live into being friends with each other and with God through Jesus Christ.

Healing Ministry is a way to be supported during times of suffering, crisis, illness, and difficulty through the laying on of hands and prayer. A Priest and Lay Ministers will be available in the Baptistery during Communion to those wishing to have prayers
Lay Eucharistic Ministers visit with those who are homebound or unable to attend the Sunday liturgies and to administer the Sacrament of the Holy Eucharist by providing sanctified Bread and Wine.

The Pastoral Care Commission seeks to model Christ’s love of neighbor by providing care and support when members of the parish are in need.

The Calvary Meal Train is there to help parishioners who have had babies, been hospitalized, or just need help with meals. Volunteers prepare and deliver meals to assist during times of need.

Moving into a new home is an exciting time. Calvary wants to help you celebrate by performing a House Blessing.
