“Will you seek and serve Christ in all persons, loving your neighbor as yourself?”
Baptismal Covenant in the Book of Common Prayer
We invite you to become a part of something bigger than yourself. Transform the lives of others as you live out the Gospel and enter into new spiritual places that connect you with God and those around you in ways you have never dreamed before.
Throughout His earthly ministry, Jesus called his followers to lives of service, compassion, and justice. As Jesus’ disciples in the 21st century, we too are called to serve others, especially those who are homeless, hungry, and poor. This ministry of Outreach and Hospitality that is such an integral part of the community of Calvary Episcopal Church, happens daily and year-round, locally and around the globe. Through these works of service, we are transformed into brothers and sisters in Christ, and come to know ourselves and others as beloved children of God.
Grounded in God’s love and compassion, and drawn by our own baptismal vows to strive for justice and peace among all people and love our neighbors as ourselves, we seek to serve Christ in all persons and to proclaim by word and example the Good News of Jesus Christ.
We invite you to join us.
